Sewing Machine Operator

(1st shift 10 am-7:30pm)

Description:

Core Responsibilities:

Assumes responsibility for the operational flow of one machine on the line and is capable of assuming responsibility for the operational flow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Other duties may be assigned.

Will operate one machine throughout the work day. Ensures their machine is operating smoothly and effectively at start up prior to production as well as throughout the day. Responsible for inspecting and maintaining their machine. Employee will also be in control of daily paperwork, filling it out properly, and making comments of any non-compliance results. Regulates machine flow in the packaging process to ensure continuous supply of finished product. Ensures the package meets quality standards. Ensures the product meets TacFul Gear, LLC Standards.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.

2. Previous employment in a production or manufacturing setting; preferred but not required

3. Basic mathematical skills; required (must be able to calculate averages) and computer skills (Word, Excel, Etc.)

 

No previous sewing experience needed. 1 week paid training will be provided.
